Research Overview

CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), also known as growth hormone-releasing factor (GRF). The peptide is a 29-amino acid sequence modified with a drug affinity complex (DAC) technology that enables covalent binding to serum albumin, dramatically extending its half-life compared to endogenous GHRH.

Research has investigated CJC-1295's ability to stimulate the pituitary gland to release growth hormone (GH) through its interaction with GHRH receptors. Because of its extended plasma half-life — estimated at several days compared to minutes for native GHRH — CJC-1295 is of significant interest in research contexts where sustained GH secretion modulation is desired.

Studies in animals have explored CJC-1295's effects on GH pulse amplitude and IGF-1 levels over time. Human pharmacokinetic studies have also been published, making it one of the more clinically studied GHRH analogs in the research literature.

Supplied as lyophilized powder. Bacteriostatic water recommended for reconstitution.
